This unique Riesling Gin combines classic juniper notes with selected botanicals such as pink pepper , grapefruit and kumquat .
The wine is aged in old Riesling barrels made of Rheingau oak , which were previously used for our Grand Crus .
During the maturation period in the barrel, natural evaporation occurs – this loss is regularly replenished with Riesling Spätlese.
A portion of Riesling actually goes into this gin.
The result is a complex , powerful gin with fresh citrus notes , spicy depth and finely integrated fruitiness .
Excellent as a gin and tonic , but also an experience on its own – especially with Mediterranean dishes or strong cheese .

Tradition & Progress
In 1998, Michael Trenz, the eleventh generation, took over the business and continued the family tradition . A significant milestone was when we were named "Newcomer of the Year" by Feinschmecker in 2005 —the first recognition of our work. Three years later, in 2008 , another honor followed when Gault Millau named us "Discovery of the Year."
