Innovative thoughts

With modern cellar technology such as temperature-controlled fermentation and concrete tanks, we enhance the clarity of our wines. A fully automated bottling system ensures hygiene and consistent quality. This is how we combine traditional craftsmanship with innovation – for sustainable production and wines with precision, character, and authenticity.

Tradition & Progress

In 1998, Michael Trenz, the eleventh generation, took over the business and continued the family tradition . A significant milestone was when we were named "Newcomer of the Year" by Feinschmecker in 2005 —the first recognition of our work. Three years later, in 2008 , another honor followed when Gault Millau named us "Discovery of the Year."

Past as foundation

Today, we build on centuries of winemaking experience – with fresh ideas, a modern style, and an open mind. We combine tradition with contemporary interpretation: consciously, attentively, and stylishly. This creates wines with provenance and character that break new ground. Our history is our strength – and our drive for the future.
