This powerful red wine blend consists primarily of Pinot Noir , complemented by the Regent and Dakapo grape varieties. Aromas of blackcurrant, cranberry , and a hint of coffee characterize this wine, which gains additional depth and complexity through open mash fermentation and aging in barriques .
The KX red wine offers a balanced structure and goes perfectly with hearty dishes such as duck, red meat, bacon or mushroom risotto – a noble red wine that perfectly reflects the complexity of the grape varieties.

Tradition & Progress
In 1998, Michael Trenz, the eleventh generation, took over the business and continued the family tradition . A significant milestone was when we were named "Newcomer of the Year" by Feinschmecker in 2005 —the first recognition of our work. Three years later, in 2008 , another honor followed when Gault Millau named us "Discovery of the Year."
